Ticket Return & Refund Policy
TKTDIG Pty Ltd | ACN 700 034 395
We understand that plans can change. Where permitted by the relevant Event Organiser's return policy, TKTDIG provides a simple online process that may allow eligible tickets to be returned before an Event.
Return and refund conditions may vary from Event to Event. Before purchasing or returning a ticket, please review the specific return and refund conditions displayed on the Event page.
1. Change of Mind & Voluntary Returns
Tickets are generally non-refundable for a change of mind unless the relevant Event Organiser has expressly enabled ticket returns for that Event.
If returns are enabled, the Event Organiser may specify:
- the period during which tickets may be returned;
- the deadline before the Event;
- whether the return is available as a refund or TKTDIG credit;
- any applicable return or processing charges; and
- any Event-specific eligibility conditions.
Important: If the Event's published return policy does not permit voluntary returns, you are not entitled to a refund merely because you change your mind, can no longer attend, arrive late or fail to attend the Event. This does not affect any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Eligible Ticket Returns
Where the Event Organiser has enabled ticket returns, eligible tickets may be returned within the period specified on the Event page.
Depending on the Event and the original method of payment, an eligible return may be processed as:
- a refund to the original payment method; or
- TKTDIG account credit for use toward an eligible future purchase.
Applicable deductions, processing charges or other conditions will be disclosed where relevant, subject to applicable law.
3. TKTDIG Credit
Where all or part of a ticket purchase was paid using TKTDIG credit, the corresponding amount will generally be returned as TKTDIG credit rather than converted into cash or refunded to a payment card.
Any remaining amount paid using another payment method will be dealt with in accordance with the applicable Event return policy and these terms.
4. Non-Attendance
Failure to attend an Event does not, by itself, create a right to a refund.
If you are unable to attend, you must complete any permitted return before the applicable Event return deadline.
Tickets that have not been validly returned before the applicable deadline will generally not be refundable merely because they were unused.
5. Event Cancellation
If an Event is cancelled and is not rescheduled
Where the Event Organiser cancels an Event and the Event will not proceed on a replacement date, ticket purchasers will receive the remedy required under the Event Organiser's lawful refund obligations and applicable Australian Consumer Law.
The Event Organiser is responsible for funding Event-related refunds.
TKTDIG may facilitate and administer those refunds on behalf of the Event Organiser through the ticketing and payment systems.
Where a refund is approved or legally required, it will ordinarily be returned to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
Processing time may depend on the Event Organiser, payment gateway, financial institution and original payment method.
6. Postponed or Rescheduled Events
Events may occasionally be postponed or rescheduled because of circumstances affecting the Event Organiser, performer, venue or Event.
These circumstances may include:
- performer illness or inability to travel;
- visa or international travel restrictions;
- government restrictions;
- public health or safety concerns;
- civil unrest or security concerns;
- venue closure or unavailability;
- natural disasters;
- transport disruption;
- force majeure; or
- other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Existing Tickets
If an Event is postponed or rescheduled, your existing ticket will normally remain valid for the replacement date and you should retain your ticket unless instructed otherwise.
Refund Rights
A postponement or minor Event change does not automatically create a right to a refund.
Where the Event is materially changed, cancelled, or circumstances otherwise give you a refund or other remedy under applicable law, the Event Organiser will provide the remedy required by law.
TKTDIG may administer an approved refund on behalf of the Event Organiser.
7. Service, Booking and Processing Fees
The treatment of booking, service, processing and delivery fees in connection with a return or refund will depend on:
- the reason for the refund;
- whether the relevant service has already been supplied;
- the Event Organiser's applicable refund arrangements; and
- any rights that apply under the Australian Consumer Law.
Where applicable law requires a particular fee or charge to be refunded, these terms do not permit TKTDIG or the Event Organiser to retain that amount.
8. How to Return Your Tickets
If ticket returns have been enabled for your Event and the return period remains open, follow these steps:
- Sign in to your TKTDIG account and select "Return Tickets".
- Select the relevant order or invoice and refresh the ticket list if required.
- For each eligible ticket you wish to return, select "Add to Return List".
- Select the available return method, such as TKTDIG Credit or Refund to Original Payment Method.
- Review the return details, including any applicable conditions or charges, and select "Return" to submit the request.
A return is not complete until the TKTDIG system confirms that the return has been successfully processed.
9. Refund Method
Where a monetary refund is approved, TKTDIG will ordinarily process the refund back to the original payment method where reasonably possible.
For security and fraud-prevention purposes, TKTDIG may require reasonable verification before processing a refund and will not ordinarily redirect a refund to an unrelated person or bank account.
10. Event Organiser Responsibility
Unless expressly stated otherwise, TKTDIG provides ticketing technology and related administrative services and is not the promoter or producer of the Event.
The relevant Event Organiser is responsible for the Event, including decisions concerning cancellation, postponement, rescheduling and Event-related refund obligations.
TKTDIG may communicate those decisions and facilitate refunds or credits through the platform on the Event Organiser's behalf.
11. Australian Consumer Law
Your statutory rights are protected. Nothing in this Ticket Return & Refund Policy excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
If there is any inconsistency between this policy and a right that cannot lawfully be excluded, the statutory right prevails.
12. Need Assistance?
If you believe you are entitled to a return or refund but the online return function is unavailable, please contact TKTDIG with your order details.
